  1. Add 73 and 65 then after the equation put an equal sign and insert the total you got from before and do the distribution method

1) 5x+2+73+65=180
==>5x=40
==>x=8

2)
3x-1+49+(180-(8x+13))=180
==>-5x=13-49+1
==>-5x=-35
==>x=7

3)18x-2=180-52
==>18x=128
==>x=7
