What would be the pH of an HCl solution if the [H+] = 2.75 x 10-5 moles/liter?
HCl ⇄ H⁺ + Cl⁻
pH = - log [ H⁺]
pH = - log [ 2.75 x 10⁻⁵]
pH = 4.56
hope this helps!
I am absolutely sure that the pH of an HCl solution if the [H+] can be founded by the formula I have attached below. Quite an easy one and that is the only thing you need. Hope you still need the answer because this one is truly helpful.
\(pH = -lo[H+]
log (2.75x10^-5) = pH of HCl = 4\)
