Verified Answer :

2 7/12 (2 7/12 = 2.583333...), 2.59, 2.7

Brian spends more on advertising.
1/12=0.083 (advertising) > 0.08 (taxes)

In another words we have to compare 1/12 and 0.08
We know that 0.08 can be write asĀ \(\frac{8}{100}\)=\(\frac{8:4}{100:4}= \frac{2}{25}\)
To compare 2 fraction we have to make common denominator of them.
\(\frac{1}{12}= \frac{1*25}{12*25}= \frac{25}{300}\)
\(\frac{2}{25}= \frac{2*12}{25*12}= \frac{24}{300}\)
Now we see that 1/12 is greater, so he spend more on advertising than taxes and fees.
