Chile is one the largest copper producer and has over a third of all the copper reserves in the world, with 170,000 millions tons of copper, according to recent data of 2017 reported by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The following in the lists with the largest copper reserves didn't even reach to double the reserves of the South American country, they included Australia (88,000 million), Peru (81,000), Mexico (46,000), the U.S. (45,000), China (27,000), Indonesia (28,000) and Poland (26,000).
