−7x + 25 = 48

Step 1: −7x + 25 − 25 = 48 − 25

Step 2: −7x = 23

Step 3: negative seven times x over seven = twenty-three over seven

Step 4: x = twenty-three over seven

Verified Answer :

You have to divide the negtive seven over to the other side

Until step 3 she took a wrong turn. 
She wrote seven times x over seven = twenty-three over 7

When she should have wrote..
negative seven times x over negative seven = twenty-three over negative seven

So her answer was 
23/7 
while it should have been a negative. ->   -23/7
