Answer: b. students whose native language isn't english.

An english-as-a-second-language teacher aide is a person who works with students whose native language is not English. This usually includes exchange students and recent immigrants. Teachers become specialized in this area due to the different needs of students who do not speak English. Moreover, many of these students are also dealing with other issues, such as homesickness and cultural shock.
