I believe that the most fitting answer for this question would be A and D. Pastoral poetry is an ancient form of poetry that is dedicated to writing about simple country life and the lives of common people, especially shepherds. This life is highly idealized and romanticized. This is often seen as the first step in any poet's journey, the final step being the epic poem. Hope this helps.
