A, B, E.

C.'s problem: the conflict between 'each' (singular) with 'their' (plural.)

D's problem: the conflict between 'university' (singular) and 'their' (plural).

Answer:

The sentences that show correct pronoun agreement are the following ones: A, B, and E.

Explanation:

Sentence A is in the past simple sentence so the verb in this form is the same for either the singular or the plural (I had, they had). Sentence B contains a plural subject whose head is the NP "girls"; therefore, the pronoun referring back to this noun should also be plural and so is the case (their). Finally, sentence E does not make use of pronouns, it repeats the noun subject instead. The NP "the students" is repeated in the noun clause that functions as the predicate nominative of the verb to be.

B and C are examples of the use of singular they.
