The right answer is letter C. Have faith in those you love and don't let others tempt you into betraying the one you love.

Psyche had been married to Cupid without having first seen him and being forbidden by him to do so. Psyche's sisters, envious of her living situation, fill her with doubt about her husband's appearance and urge her to unveil it. While trying to see him, Psyche's mistrust physically hurts Cupid who then must desert her.

The theme is accentuated in the story as Psyche undergoes great obstacles to remedy her having betrayed Cupid because of the influence of others. The lesson is then not to fall to any similar pressures and mistrust of our loved ones.
