I would break it into groups. Basically that means split -26x into 2 different numbers that added together will equal -26x. That way, you can easily factor.
\(48x^2-26x+3\)
Im going to use -8x and -18x
\((48^2-8x)+(-18x+3)\)
now you factor out the LCD in each of the parenthesis.
\((48^2-8x)=8x(6x-1)\)
\((-18x+3)=-3(6x-1)\)
since they both have \((6x-1)\)
you can factor that out.
Making the answer be:
\((8x-3)(6x-1)\)
