okay so lets say that it sprays every 12 seconds so what you need to do is divide 12 with 60 so  60÷12=5 so it sprays 5 times per minute

for example, if the air freshener sprays 3 times every 20 minutes,

here are our points:

(20,3), (40,6), (60,9), (80,12)

lets take the second and third point to find the slope.

\(\frac{9-6}{60-20} = \frac{3}{40}\)

3/40 would be the slope.
