The word aqueduct comes from the Latin words "Aqua" meaning water and "ducere" meaning to lead. Then it becomes the Latin word "aquae ductus" meaning conduit. Therefore, the meaning of the word aqueduct is a structure that leads water. The correct answer is option B.

"Aquaeductus", which is the result of the sum of two components:

-The noun "aqua", which is synonymous with "water".

- "Duct", which derives from the verb "ducere", which is equivalent to "guide".

Therefore, an aqueduct is a channel artificially constructed to carry water to a specific site.

The answer is: B. A structure that leads water.
