\(x^{\frac{m}{n}}=\sqrt[n]{x^{m}}\)

so
(m^(2/3))^(1/2)=m^(2/3 times 1/2)=m^(2/6)=m^(1/3)= \(\sqrt[3]{m^{1}}\)= \(\sqrt[3]{m}\)
