Solutions

Volume is the measure of the amount of space inside of a solid figure. To solve the question we have to use the formula's for a cone and cylinder.

Volume of cylinder =hπ²
Volume of cone =1/3hπ²

Solve

Volume of cone
Formula = 1/3hπ²

height = 6
r = 3/2=1.5
v=1/3×π×6×1.5^2
V=2π×2.25
V=4.5pi

Volume of cylinder
formula =hπ²

r=3/2=1.5
h=5
v=5×π×1.5²
v=5π×2.25
v=11.25π

Subtraction

A-B=4.5π -11.25π=6.75π

π =3.141592

= 21.205

rounded = 21.2
