You must add 25 to both sides. \(\frac{10}{2} ^{2}\)=\(5^{2}\)= 25. Your answer would be \(x^{2}\)+10x+25=62.

(x+5)(x+5)=62

(x+5)=\(\sqrt{62}\)=7.87

(x+5)=7.87

x=2.87
