Justin is looking at two chromosomes that have identical alleles for particular traits, these chromosomes are considered homozygous. Homozygous alleles are those that have alternative form of a given gene. It may be recessive or dominant. The dominant trait is represeted by capital letters while the recessive trait is represented by small letters.
