This is usually false since invasive species usually cause the extinction of other native species which actually means that biodiversity becomes smaller.

Correct answer: False

Invasive species are those species, which lower the biodiversity to a such an extent that they can create monotypic community.

Invasive species can be any type of living organism like plant, insect, fungus, fish, bacteria or seeds of the organism or eggs that are not native to an ecosystem and can cause a great harm to the ecosystem, economy, health, and the environment too.
