2 3/4 = 11/4

13/4 - 11/4 = 2/4 = 1/2

so to simplify that expression 3 1/4 turns into 13/4  then we simplify 2 3/4 which turns into 11/4 then we subtract and our answer is 2/4 which simplifies into 1/4 your welcome but show your work ok?
