This will lower the mice population since it will introduce a predator that will lower the carrying capacity. 4. The mice population can change in the future if more predators are introduced, if predators die out/go away, if an invasive species is introduced that competes with the mice for resources, if the climate changes, and if the amount of resources available to the mice increases or decreases.
