when you are being tailgated by another person, it is best to SLOW DOWN so the person is able to safely pass you without having to worry about getting hit by other cars from the left or right.

Answer:

c. slow down

Step-by-step explanation:

Tailgating is when a driver pulls up dangerously close to another car in front. If the front car stops suddenly it would cause a collision.

In such a situation the driver who is tailgating wants to avoid collision. Slowing down will reduce the other drivers speed as well. This will motivate the driver to pass as he already wants to faster than the driver in front.
