Member of the feminist movement shared the goals of the civil rights movement concerning legislation to ensure equal rights. The correct answer is B. The feminists fought for equal rights of women and men. It is a fact that women weren't equal to men before the middle of the 20th century (and some would argue even today), which is why they wanted to fight for equal rights for everyone. They thought men shouldn't be the only ones who have those rights just because they are men.

The correct answer is B.

Both the civil rights movement and the feminist movement have historically fought for equal rights, and their fight still continues nowadays.

Both movements have intended, first, to raise awareness of the situation of oppresion suffered by a large population group and, second, to revert the discriminative tendency so that a situation of equality is reached, where everybody can enjoy the same social status independently of their race (in case of the Civil rights movement) or of their gender (in the case of the feminist movement).

Both movements have faced the same situation, as the rights claimed are granted by law but do not occur in practice.
