The area formula of a circle is:
A = \(\pi\)r²

given is the diameter = 44 ft so the radius is
r = \(\frac{d}{2} = \frac{44}{2} = 22 ft\)

Apply the formula
A = \(\pi\)(22)²
   = 484\(\pi\) ft²

Answer is the second options, B. 484\(\pi\) ft²
