The correct answer is option B.

A TALL TALE is a story about a person who is larger than life. "Pecos Bill" is the main character or hero of one of those stories told by people settled in America many years ago in the times of pioneers. The main characteristic of a tall tale is that descriptions are exaggerated in order to attract the children's attention.

Answer:

B. Tall Tale

Explanation:

A tall tale  is an imaginative tale of adventures or amazing achievement with very exaggerated descriptions of people and events.

Pecos Bill is a fictional American cowboy raised by coyotes. His adventures are said to have been told in oral tradition first, until they were featured in a cartoon strip by Edward O'Reilly and Jack Warren in the 1930s.

The rest of the choices are incorrect because an epic tale involves a hero who engages in a crusade to help or rescue another character or community; a myth is traditional story with supernatural elements; and a legend is an inaccurate popular story which is sometimes considered historical.
