First you multiply both sides of equation by 4 so you get:

\(\frac{3}{4} *x*4=8*4\)
\(3x=32\)

next you devide both by 3
\(\frac{3}{3}*x=\frac{32}{3}\)

which gives you:
\(x=\frac{32}{3}=10\frac{2}{3}\)
