BDarwin proposed that species evolve by natural selection.

A is a false statement because genetic info, not things acquired during a lifetime,  is passed onto offspring. C is false because organisms can definitely change. D is false because species, not individual organisms, evolve.

Answer:

The correct answer would be B.  Species evolve by natural selection.

Charles Darwin gave the idea of evolution through natural selection.

Natural selection is the process by which nature selects or favors the survival and reproduction of the organisms which are better adapted to the environmental pressure such as changes in climate, predators, competition et cetera.

The traits which provide the advantageous characters are passed and accumulated over generations and lead to the evolution of species.
