The correct answer should be b. to create a bold statement against a belief

Being avant-garde means being in front of others when it comes to cultural and social understandings and beliefs. This does not necessarily have to be shocking, but sometimes it is. Avant-garde artists always want to show that the current beliefs belong to the old times and want to change the world.

ANSWER:

b)  To create a bold statement against a belief

EXPLANATION:

Being avant- grade implies being before others with regards to social and social understandings and convictions. This does not really need to stun, but rather at times it is. avant grade specialists dependably need to demonstrate that the present convictions have a place with the old occasions and need to change the world.
