The correct answer is C) redcoats.

General William Howe did ferry redcoats across Boston Harbor.

We are talking about the evacuation of English troops from Boston, during the Boston Siege. On March 17, 1776, American soldiers forced General William Howe's troops out of Boston Harbor. More than 10,000 soldiers and Loyalists left Boston, to Halifax in the territory of Nova Scotia. The victory represented a memorable moment for the Continental Army led by General George Washington.
