  • The new translation ordered by King James democratized the Bible since, from the control of the church alone.

Answer:

Option B, it was accessible to the general public, is the right answer.

Explanation:

In the year 1604 James I, the King of England commissioned a  new translation of the Bible. The main aim of this translation was to gain some disturbing religious variations in his kingdom and solidify his leadership.

In an attempt to prove his rule as the supreme rule he ended up democratizing the Bible preferably. It was due to the developed printing technology of the time that brought out the Bible from the sole control of the Church and allowed common people to read it directly. Therefore, it may be said that the Bible of James I, had an impact on the population because it was accessible to the general public.
