Density is a measurement of the mass or volume of a
substance, the measure of its solidity and thickness. Now, how does it affect
the melting point of a substance? Well it depends on what substance your using
in your experiment like water, the has a low density but higher melting point.
But for other substance, yes, density affects the melting point. The thinner
the substance the lesser the melting point but the thicker the substance the
higher the melting point.
