Ever since she was very young, Gia and her family have taken a yearly trip

to a nearby state park. They always put up their tents at the same

campsite, and they hike the same trails they have visited many times

before. On long hikes, they explore the sparkling lake, which is surrounded

by a forest. Gia finds the familiar trip comforting and enjoyable.
